¿Qué es cohesión grupal?
Hablamos de una buena cohesión grupal cuando todos sus miembros tienen el sentido de pertenencia al grupo y se sienten importantes, vistos y aceptados. Una buena cohesión del grupo ayuda a construir un ambiente lleno de confianza, un espacio seguro y amistoso, donde no te da vergüenza tomar riesgos. Un espacio idóneo para crecer y para aprender.
Nosotras, las profes, podemos y debemos influir en construir este espacio.
Lo que ayuda a crear la cohesión del grupo:
-Debates para escuchar y ser escuchados.
-Asambleas
-Salidas, aunque sean solo al campo o al parque.
-Teatro (preparar representaciones para los festivales o los role-plays)
-Juegos y dinámicas no competitivos.
Los juegos y dinámicas ayudarán a crear vínculos necesarios para obtener una mejor cohesión siempre y cuando no sean competitivos.
Los juegos competitivos forman y formarán parte de la vida de nuestros alumnos, por supuesto; y tienen sus ventajas, sí; pero no nos interesan si estamos hablando de construir una cohesión grupal, porque queremos un espacio donde nadie pierda y en los juegos competitivos hay ganadores y perdedores.
Estos son 3 ejemplos de dinámicas que funcionan con mis alumnos:
Círculos de conversación
Perfectos para el primer día del curso, después de las vacaciones o puentes, cuando los niños vienen con muchas ganas de hablar. Yo empecé a incluir esta dinámica en mi clase, cuando alguno de los alumnos no quería formar pareja con otro, con esta justificación: “ es que nunca he hablado con él o ella” .
Objetivos:
- conocerse
- romper el hielo
- crear vínculos
- practicar la escucha
- practicar conversación
Procedimiento:
- Pedimos a nuestros alumnos que hagan un círculo grande y cuenten hasta 2.
- Dividimos a todos los alumnos en dos grupos.
- Todos con el número 1 forman un círculo dentro, los del número 2 forman un círculo fuera.
- Los alumnos del círculo interior se dan la vuelta y se colocan enfrente de un compi del círculo exterior.
- Si el número de alumnos es impar, participará la profe. Si es par, la profe se dedica a observar y a marcar cambios.
- Empezamos a hablar y cada 1, 2 o 3 minutos uno de los círculos se mueve, con lo cual los alumnos se encuentran delante de un compañero diferente.
- Después podemos reflexionar: ¿ha sido fácil o difícil? Si ha sido difícil, ¿por qué?
En esta actividad los niños hablan solo con los alumnos del otro círculo. El próximo día cuando repitamos esta actividad, los grupos se distribuirán de una manera diferente.
Podemos dejar el tema libre o dar tema de conversación (si vemos que hay niños que no saben de qué hablar con sus compañeros).

Es verdad que cada alumno va a decir lo mismo varias veces, pero van a escuchar cosas diferentes.
El viento sopla
Objetivos:
- conocerse
- ver y celebrar lo que tenemos en común y nuestras diferencias
- recabar información sobre nuestros alumnos
- crear vínculos y cercanía
- divertirnos
Procedimiento:
- Formamos un círculo con sillas.
- Una persona (en principio la profe) dice:
- El viento sopla para los que…..llevan calcetines
- Y los que llevan calcetines se levantan y se cambian de sitio.
NORMAS: no se puede correr o empujar para llegar antes. La persona que lo haga queda descalificada.
Otras ideas:
-tienen un perro
-son hermanos o hermanas mayores
-tienen su cumple en vacaciones
-no les gusta el queso
pero también:
-Han tenido miedo alguna vez/ hace poco
-Han llorado esta semana
-no han hecho los deberes algún día.
-se sienten bien en clase ( ¿se moverán todos?)
-les da vergüenza hablar en público
Después de varias rondas, la profe puede empezar a participar. Entonces el alumno que se ha quedado sin silla se queda en el centro y da las consignas.
La profe participa.
La pelota invisible
Este juego es muy interesante porque exige contacto visual. El contacto visual es algo que cuesta y algo que crea cercanía y vínculo. Además, es un juego muy placentero.
Objetivos
- buscar y mantener el contacto visual
- crear vínculo
- desarrollar las FUNCIONES EJECUTIVAS: contención e inhibición, autocontrol
- divertirnos
- romper la rutina de clase
- relajarse y descansar
Procedimiento:
- Hacemos un círculo grande.
- Nos imaginamos una pelota invisible.
- La profe tiene la pelota, busca con su mirada a alguien y cuando está segura de que se ha establecido el contacto visual y otra persona está preparada para recogerla, se la tira.
- Se sigue el juego siempre con estas reglas: no se tira la pelota si no está establecido el contacto visual. Estamos pendientes de incluir a todos.
